The organization believes that the best way to address these issues is through action in the field. The organization works to make a positive impact on wildlife and future generations through the support of its supporters and the communities it aims to help.

The organization recognizes that there are drastic deforestation problems in the equatorial rainforest zones, and this unsustainable issue is increasingly obvious. Saving Monkeys focuses on protecting primates, including monkeys and other wildlife that live in the rainforests of South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
